Calligram

For this assignment we had to create an image using text. I chose to do a mushroom because I grew up hating mushrooms, but I recently was forced to try it at work and I realized that I actually like them! Over the past year my life has changed so much, realizing that I like mushrooms is just another new thing! It was really interesting learning how to do what the artists do and be challenged in a way I haven't been before. It's a really fun and unique way to express art.

Hi, my name is Kat. I transferred to UT this past January 2019 and I’m hoping to graduate in December 2020. I’m really excited to learn how to use the different Adobe programs and to see how they correspond to my major. I’m not a visual person and generally rely on expressing myself through writing, so I’m expecting this class to be challenging and push me to do things I’ve never done before.
